Krka National Park lies within Šibenik-Knin County. It is a vast and unaltered area of exceptional value, including number of preserved or insignificantly altered ecosystems. The amazing travertine waterfalls of the Krka River are a must-see natural phenomenon and it has become one of the most popular tourist attractions. One of the most attractive parts of the park is certainly Skradinski Buk, a massive, clear, natural pool with 17 waterfalls and cascades. It is the lowest of the three sets of waterfalls formed along the Krka river. Skradinski buk is considered to be one of the most beautiful calcium carbonate waterfalls in Europe.
